Memorial Day Weekend is nearly upon us which is the official kick off for Summer in Boston. This is one of our favorite seasons since we get to welcome so many visitors from around the world for the next three months. We are ready! We've added lots of new styles to our selection of American Flag fashion (check out Cheers Sunglasses in red, white and blue with bottle openers built in!) not to mention tons of new socks. You'll find many new styles of dog breed socks by Wheel House Designs and great new designs by Gumball Poodle with their usual humor and bold statements. We're looking forward to Boston's Gay Pride Festival in June with rainbow socks and tank tops.
Bring home a Boston T, sweatshirt or sweatpants as a souvenir of your visit. The Next Level Boyfriend T looks great in Cool Blue, Hot Pink, Heather Gray or Purple Berry with a complementary Boston imprint. The Red Sox are hot this season so get your Sox socks and enjoy watching Big Papi and the team rack up the runs! If you're already looking forward to football season, we've got your Patriots socks and we'd never forget the Celtics and Bruins. We've got 'em all in sizes for kids, women and men.
Wishing you a safe Memorial Day weekend with friends, family and cookouts! Fly the American flag proudly in your fashion as well as on the flag pole. Visit Boston and enjoy Summer!
Last year at this time we still had literal tons of snow piled up around the city and the final "snow farm" did not officially melt completely until July 13, 2015. What a difference a year makes! We went from having record breaking snowfall in 2014-2015 to one of the shortest winters with very little [...]

What happened to summer? Did that go fast or is it just me? The holidays are rushing our way and we will be ready! Old Glory, Stars and Stripes, Star Spangled Banner - whatever you call the American Flag, it has become a fashion staple from head to toe. American Flag iconography was boosted by the attack on US soil on 9/11. Flag production tripled in the days and weeks immediately following 9/11. Americans began buying flags hours after [...]
Faneuil Hall Marketplace has been home to our business since 1978 but that is hardly the beginning for this landmark in Boston. Faneuil Hall was built in 1742 and has been the site of many historic meetings and speeches and that tradition continues to this day. It is sometimes referred to as the Cradle of Liberty. [...]
Sock it To Me Boston is a family business started in 1978. Yeah, that's a long time ago! We are three siblings, Mary, Nancy and Steven, who began with a specialty lingerie boutique at the newly renovated Faneuil Hall Marketplace on Boston's waterfront. It was the first of the festival marketplaces in the U.S. and continues to attract [...]

The Ides of March, Boston's St. Patty's Day Parade and less than a week until the First Day of Spring...any way you look at it, this is an auspicious day! The weather is fine for the parade and everyone is itching to be outside after a tough winter so spirits are high in Boston and [...]
We got slammed! Maybe you heard about it? 100 inches of snow in one month! The MBTA (public transportation) has been crippled by cold and snow making commutes long and challenging. Narrow, winding streets have become gauntlets to navigate between huge piles of snow on the sidewalks and curbs. But besides getting hammered by the [...]
